Victor Penna

Victor Penna brings more than 35 years' experience in finance, banking and consulting across the globe. He is recognized as a recognized industry leader in financial services with expertise in corporate and transaction banking, treasury consulting, business process reengineering, and technology innovation.

Prior to joining Mashreq, Victor held senior roles in the global transaction banking business at Standard Chartered, covering treasury advisory, digital solutions and corporate sales for Cash and Trade products across 50+ countries in the Americas, Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa. Most recently he was the Regional Cash Head for Europe and Americas and also responsible for building a new domestic cash platform in Europe.

During his career, he has worked with many Fortune 500 clients on projects covering Treasury Centers, In-House Banks, Payment Factories, Shared Service Centers, and Supply Chain Management Centers, and his industry experience extends across Oil & Gas, Mining & Resources, Petrochemicals, Power, Technology, Consumer Electronics, Airlines & Shipping, Automotive, Industrials, Insurance, Asset Managers, Banks, and the Public Sector.

At Mashreq, Victor Penna was Executive Vice-President and Co-Head of Global Transaction Banking, where he shared insights into the bank's digital transformation journey, including transitioning to a cloud-native approach for cash management, collections, documentary trade, and open account trade.
