Val Rahmani is a non-executive director with more than 30 years of experience across technology and financial services. She spent more than 25 years at IBM in senior leadership roles and later served as chief executive officer of the cyber security company Damballa.
She is a non-executive director of London Stock Exchange Group, RenaissanceRe Holdings and Entrust Corporation, and was previously a non-executive director of Computer Task Group and Elliott Opportunity II Corp until 2023. She holds a DPhil in Chemistry from the University of Oxford and joins the board of Smiths Group plc with effect from 1 October 2026.
