Tomaso Rodriguez

Tomaso Rodriguez served as Chief Executive Officer of talabat, the MENA region's leading on-demand delivery platform, for six years, during which he grew the business more than nine-fold and guided the company through a record-breaking IPO on the Dubai Financial Market in December 2024. Rodriguez stepped down from his CEO role on November 21, 2025, and continues to support talabat as a non-executive board member, focusing on strategy and stakeholder engagement.

Rodriguez holds a global track record in the management of online service delivery platforms and driving operations. Prior to talabat, he headed Grab's food division and expanded the food delivery business from one city to over 200 cities in only 18 months. Before his tenure at Grab, he served as general manager of a global car-hailing app in Italy and Greece and was the regional head of UberEats' Asia-Pacific operations.
