Tarek Rizk

Tarek Rizk is SLB's Chief Performance Officer, a position he assumed in March 2025, where he drives SLB's global performance strategy and implementation, including safety, operations integrity, planning, supply chain, manufacturing, maintenance, digital enablement, information technology, and global business services. He is currently a Non-Executive Director at Arabian Drilling Co. since 2020.

Tarek began his SLB career in 2000 as a wireline field engineer in Egypt and has held key operational and leadership roles across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and North America focused on customer success, safety, and operational performance. Most recently, he served as president of Middle East and North Africa, president of Drilling & Measurements, director of HR for the drilling group, and vice president of wireline for the Middle East and Africa.

He holds a degree in electrical engineering from Alexandria University in Egypt and received executive education at the University of California, Berkeley. He was included in the 2023 Forbes Global Meets Local list of impactful leaders.
