Sachin Mehra

Sachin Mehra is Chief Business Officer of Mastercard and a member of the company's Executive Leadership Team, a role to which he transitioned effective August 3, 2026. In this position, Mehra oversees sales enablement, global partnerships, and digital commercialization under a single global go-to-market leadership structure. He possesses more than 20 years of financial leadership experience, having joined Mastercard in June 2010.

Prior to his appointment as Chief Business Officer, Mehra served as CFO of Mastercard since April 2019, responsible for all corporate finance functions including corporate controller, tax, internal audit, investor relations, strategy, mergers and acquisitions, financial planning and analysis, treasury, risk management, global supply chain, business unit finance and regional finance activities. Over the past decade, Mehra has been instrumental in shaping the company's growth and transformation efforts, following his five-year tenure as corporate treasurer and then as business finance officer for the company's largest geographic region. He moved into a business role where he developed and executed the company's commercial products (B2B) strategy.

Before joining Mastercard, Mehra held treasury and finance roles of increasing responsibility at Hess Corporation, General Motors and GMAC in New York, Singapore, Belgium and Shanghai, starting his career at General Motors in its New York Treasurers Office. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Darden Business School at the University of Virginia and received his undergraduate degree in commerce from Sydenham College at the University of Mumbai, India. Mehra currently sits on the board of Salesforce.
