Omar Alzaim

Omar Alzaim was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs' Saudi Arabia operations in December 2024, as the bank seeks to expand its presence in the Kingdom. He simultaneously continues in his role as Head of Investment Banking for Saudi Arabia. Alzaim holds a CFA credential and was educated at King's College London.

Alzaim brings over 10 years of dedicated investment banking experience across the Middle East region. His extensive experience spans local and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, rights issues and debt offerings. Notable transactions he has worked on include the IPO of Saudi Aramco, the PIF's divestment of a stake in Sabic to Aramco as well as a number of privatisation deals. Beyond his investment banking expertise, Alzaim serves as vice president of the CFA Society Saudi Arabia and is a board member of the Saudi UK Alumni network.
