Noora Jamsheer

Noora Jamsheer joined The Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones (DANAT) as CEO in 2019. She graduated with honors from Babson College in 1997 with a Bachelor's of Science in Finance, Investments, and Economics. Jamsheer is a certified Rough Diamond and Polished Diamond Grader having completed her training at the International Gemological Institute Belgium and Gemological Institute of America. She has participated in the development of the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS), an initiative to combat conflict diamonds, and developed synergies to foster the growth of transparent natural resources markets.

Under her leadership, Jamsheer assembled a specialized team of experts and equipped DANAT Institute with state-of-the-art facilities. In January 2024, she was elected as a member of the CIBJO President's Council and Vice President of the CIBJO Pearl Commission.
