Nahar Houthan

Nahar Houthan joined Investcorp in May 2016 and assumed the role of Deputy CEO of Investcorp Saudi Arabia as of November 2024. He brings deep expertise in alternative investments and institutional capital formation, with a particular focus on the Saudi Arabian market.

Prior to joining Investcorp, Houthan spent four years at The Carlyle Group as Vice President for Investor Relations, responsible for Saudi Arabia. He previously worked with Morgan Stanley in Riyadh and National Commercial Bank Treasury in Jeddah, establishing a robust track record in regional finance and capital management.

Houthan holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Management from Babson College. In his current role, he has been instrumental in advancing Investcorp's alternative investment strategies in Saudi Arabia, including strategic fintech partnerships that democratize access to pre-IPO growth opportunities.
