Mathias Gonzalez

Mathias Gonzalez was appointed Chief Investment Officer of Barclays (Suisse) SA and Head of Investments for Barclays Private Bank in Switzerland and Dubai in February 2025. He joined Barclays in November 2024 and is based in Geneva, where he reports to Jean-Damien Marie, Global Head of Investments at Barclays Private Bank. He was also appointed a member of the Executive Committee of Barclays Bank (Suisse) SA.

Gonzalez brings over 20 years of experience working in investments and with Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients. In his role at Barclays, he is responsible for all private bank investments business in Switzerland and Dubai, working alongside Private Bankers to develop investment opportunities and deliver end-to-end solutions for the UHNW and Family Office client base.
