Mamoru Takahashi

Mamoru Takahashi served as General Manager and Head of MUFG's Doha office, Qatar, before returning to Japan to continue his career with the bank. He had been with MUFG since the establishment of the Doha office in 2009 and played a key role in expanding MUFG's presence in Qatar and successfully connecting clients with MUFG's growing global footprint.

Takahashi is an expert in overseas office management, Middle East banking business, and structured finance with over 10 years of experience in banking for the Middle East region. His expertise spans multiple specialized finance areas: he is a specialist in ship finance origination and structuring with a decade of experience and strong connections with the Japanese shipping market, and has experience in aircraft finance for Middle Eastern airlines, trade finance, and ECA & MLA/MDB finance.
