Ludger Peters

Ludger Peters serves as Managing Director and Head of Strategic Institutional Relationships at Allspring Global Investments since November 2021, where he oversees the International Client Group and manages regional operations including the Japanese business. Based in Mill Valley, California, Peters brings extensive experience in institutional sales and business development within the asset management sector.

Peters previously held the position of Managing Director and Institutional Sales Manager at Wells Capital Management from February 2003 to October 2021, where he oversaw international business development efforts. His role at Wells Fargo Asset Management covered all sales and business development activities outside of North America, including Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Latin America, Australia and New Zealand, with a dedicated team of 15 sales directors across different regions. Earlier in his career, Peters served as Managing Director of International Sales at Montgomery Asset Management and as Vice President of Business Development at Commerzbank AG, where he focused on the privatization of state-owned companies in Eastern Germany and the Czech and Slovak Republics.
