Juma Al Hameli

Juma Al Hameli was appointed Chief Communication Officer of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) in January 2023, where he leads marketing and corporate communications, driving strategies for overall communications, public relations, marketing, branding, events, and digital and social media to position ADGM as a leading international financial centre. He is an active board member of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) and Chairperson of the Banking & Financial Services Working Group part of the UAE's Economic Collaboration Committee.

Juma is a seasoned leader with over 19 years of experience in the technology and financial services field and has demonstrated a track record of producing successful strategies and delivering innovative business solutions. Since joining ADGM in 2014, he has played a vital role in the launch as well as growth of ADGM. Prior to this, Juma spent a decade at Abu Dhabi Global Market in senior leadership roles, including as Chief Communications Officer and Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer.

Juma holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Khalifa University (formerly known as Etisalat University College) in addition to having participated in several development programmes with Harvard University and IESE Business School.
