Hana AlRostamani

Hana Al Rostamani serves as the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), the largest bank in the United Arab Emirates and one of the world's largest and most secure financial institutions, overseeing assets totaling over USD 300 billion. Recognized for being a change leader focused on embedding a culture driven by innovation, diversity and inclusion, Hana is the first female CEO in FAB's history. She has held the position of Group CEO since 2021. With over 25 years of experience in banking and financial services, Hana brings extensive industry expertise to her leadership role.

Before assuming her current position as GCEO in January 2021, she served as Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer and Group Head of Personal Banking at FAB, driving the transformation of the bank's consumer banking division towards a customer-centric, digitally-driven approach. Prior to this role, she held positions at First Gulf Bank, Citibank, and the AW Rostamani Group throughout her 25-year career.

She is currently Chair of the Global Council on the Sustainable Development Goals, with a key interest in development goal 7, 'Affordable and Clean Energy,' and serves as a Board member of Buna, the Institute of International Finance (IIF), the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), and the Executive Board of the US-UAE Business Council. Her most recent accolade includes her first-place ranking in Forbes Middle East's list of the region's most powerful businesswomen.
