Gavin Kelly

Gavin Kelly was appointed CEO of Davy & Wealth and Executive Director of the Davy Board in November 2024, following regulatory approval in July 2024. In this role, Gavin leads the Group's Wealth and Insurance division, which comprises wholly-owned Bank of Ireland subsidiaries Davy and New Ireland Assurance. He remains on the Group Executive Committee of Bank of Ireland.

Kelly joined Bank of Ireland in 2007 and has held a number of senior management positions, including Interim Group Chief Executive from 3 September 2022 until 16 November 2022. Before his Davy appointment, he served as Chief Executive of the Corporate and Commercial Banking division, and he has also served as Chief Executive of Retail Ireland.

Kelly holds a Commerce Degree and an MBS from University College Dublin, and is a Certified Bank Director and a Fellow and previous President of the Institute of Banking. He is a former President and Chairperson of the Banking and Payments Federation of Ireland (BPFI).
