Fahad Al-Hesni

Overview

Fahad Al-Hesni is CEO of Riyadh Re, a newly launched reinsurance company in Saudi Arabia. Riyadh Re provides facultative and treaty reinsurance solutions across diverse lines of business, including property and casualty, engineering, construction, marine, energy, aviation, financial, and cyber risks. Riyadh Reinsurance Company was officially launched on November 10, 2025, after receiving the final license from Insurance Authority.

Al-Hesni has a graduate degree from the University of London, an undergraduate degree from King Saud University (conferred in 1991), and a graduate degree from City University London (conferred in 1999). He has a Master's degree in Insurance and Risk Management from City University of London and an Association degree from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) in the UK.

Al-Hesni is a member of the International Insurance Society (IIS). He has more than 26 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry during which he assumed various leading positions. His last position before Saudi Re was Vice President of Property & Casualty in Tawuniya.
