Divyesh Vithlani

Divyesh Vithlani was appointed Group Chief Technology and Transformation Officer at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) in February 2025, reporting directly to CEO Hana AlRostamani. He is a senior C-level technology executive with over 25 years of experience in banking technology and digital transformation, based in the United Arab Emirates.

Vithlani spent two years as Standard Chartered's Group Chief Transformation Officer before joining FAB, during which he led strategic transformation initiatives, optimising digital processes and operational efficiency across global markets. Before Standard Chartered, he worked at Accenture for more than five years, serving as Senior Managing Director and Accenture Market Unit Lead for Southeast, South and East Asia, where he focused on providing technology and consulting services to financial institutions.

Vithlani made his name at Credit Suisse, joining the bank's Singapore office as a Vice President in 1998 and working his way up to Group Chief Technology Operating Officer over 14 years. While at Credit Suisse, he held multiple roles including Managing Director for Asia Pacific CIO and IT Chief Operating Officer, overseeing strategy and delivery of IT services, managing IT financials, and leading simplification programs. Vithlani holds a BSc (Hons) in Computing Science from Aston University (1986-1990).
