David Konur

David C. Konur, FACHE, is transitioning to Chairman of the Board at Cardiovascular Logistics (CVL), a leading national cardiology management services organization. He founded CVL in partnership with Lee Equity Partners in 2023 after a 24-year tenure as CEO of Cardiovascular Institute of the South, one of the nation's most respected cardiovascular groups.

During his leadership of CVL, Konur led the company through remarkable growth in its first two years, expanding from one to five practices, increasing providers from 120 to over 440, growing locations from 21 to over 85, and more than doubling team members. Under his leadership, CVL developed into a national leader in cardiovascular care with over 425 providers across 7 states.

Konur's healthcare leadership experience spans decades. Prior to founding CVL, he served as a senior executive at Terrebonne General Medical Center, where he developed a management services organization for the hospital's physician practices. He received the prestigious Fly High Award in 2017 for his dynamic vision and distinguished leadership in propelling CIS into a healthcare and innovation leader.

Konur holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a certified medical practice executive of the American College of Medical Practice Executives, and serves on multiple healthcare and civic boards. He has received multiple awards and honors, including a Gold Congressional Medal Award.
