Basit Saiyed

Basit Sajid Saiyed was appointed Head of Wealth Management at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) in March 2025. He brings nearly two decades of experience in wealth management and capital markets across leading global financial hubs, including the UAE, UK, and Hong Kong.

In his current role at ADIB, Basit leads the bank's Wealth Management function across the organization. His key responsibilities include driving the expansion of wealth management offerings and providing holistic solutions and advisory across the customer continuum. Prior to ADIB, Saiyed spent the bulk of his career at HSBC, working in various roles. Most recently, he was the head of investments and wealth solutions, Menat, for HSBC's global private banking and wealth unit for four years.
