Abdullah Ali Al-Khalifa

Abdullah Ali Al-Khalifa was appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Alinma Bank, a position that combines his current CEO responsibilities with board leadership. He has served as CEO since January 2021 and brings over 30 years of experience in the banking sector.

Since joining Alinma in 2021, Al-Khalifa has led the bank through a comprehensive phase of renovation and growth, anchored in Alinma's strategy to be the fastest, most convenient, and most innovative financial institution in the Kingdom. Under his leadership, the bank adopted a digital-first approach, launched the Digital Factory unit, and expanded its fintech arm, Saudi Financial Technology Company, resulting in a significant uplift in performance and innovation. The bank established a wholly-owned fintech subsidiary that has launched ClickPay, a payment aggregator, and AlinmaPay, a digital wallet service.

Al-Khalifa holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from King Saud University in Riyadh and a master's degree in accounting from the University of Miami in the United States. In 2022, he was named one of the top CEOs in the GCC region at the Top CEO Conference and Awards held in Dubai, UAE.
