Abdulla Mohammed Al Zamil

Abdulla Mohammed Al Zamil was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zamil Industrial Investment Company on 8 May 2022, transitioning from his role as Chief Executive Officer, which he held since October 2009. Zamil Industrial is a Saudi manufacturer engaged in pre-engineered building, structural steel, air conditioning systems, and insulation materials, with 2024 revenues of 6.0 billion SAR and 11,000+ employees.

Al Zamil earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Washington, USA in 1987, followed by an MBA from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia in 1993. He began his professional career in 1987 with Zamil Air Conditioners as an Industrial Engineer and subsequently became Vice President for Sales & Marketing and Purchasing & Materials Management, eventually being promoted to Senior Vice President.

Al Zamil currently serves as Non-Executive Chairman of Advanced Building Industries Co. (from 2022), and holds chairmanships at Gulf International Bank - Saudi Arabia (from 2019), Saudi Global Ports, Zamil Air Conditioners Holding Co., and Zamil Steel Holding Co., among other board positions.
