Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2027 will be held at the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park, Sharjah, from 30 to 31 January 2027. The tenth edition of the festival, known as SEF 2027, is organised by Sheraa, the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center.
Positioned as the region's largest entrepreneurship festival, SEF 2027 expects, according to the organiser, more than 14,000 attendees, 300 plus speakers and 500 plus venture capital investors. The programme runs across a pitch competition, an investor lounge for founder and investor meetings, a startup showcase and the Seffy Awards. Announced speakers include Mo Gawdat, Sebastian Vettel, Khabib Nurmagomedov and the GCC chief executive of Revolut. Partners include Emaar, Microsoft, noon, Air Arabia and Emirates.
For executives, the festival brings founders, venture investors and corporate innovation leads together at scale, and its partner list includes major UAE corporates. Chief executives and innovation heads use the startup showcase to identify acquisition and partnership targets, venture investors use the investor lounge to source deal flow, and government entities use the stage to promote Sharjah's entrepreneurship ecosystem. The two day format keeps the commitment short for senior attendees.
