The New Space Economy European Expoforum will be held at Fiera di Roma from 25 to 27 November 2026. It is organised by Fiera Roma Srl in collaboration with the Agenzia Spaziale Italiana, and according to the organiser this is the eighth edition. The stated theme for 2026 is Space Reloaded, Recreating the Future.
The event addresses the commercial space sector rather than the scientific one. It combines an exhibition with conference sessions on satellite services, launch and in orbit infrastructure, earth observation data, downstream applications and the financing of space ventures. The Rome venue and the involvement of the Italian space agency give it a policy dimension alongside the commercial programme.
The attending audience is unusually mixed, which is the point of it. Space agency representatives sit alongside prime contractors and component suppliers, early stage companies, venture capital and institutional investors, insurers, telecommunications and defence buyers and research institutions, drawn mainly from Italy and the rest of Europe. For boards the value is in seeing where public procurement, private capital and downstream demand are converging, because commercial space revenue increasingly depends on buyers outside the sector.
