Journées de l'Économie 2026, known as the Jéco, will be held at multiple venues across Lyon from 3 to 5 November. The 2026 event is the 19th edition and is organised by the Fondation Innovation et Transitions with ENS Lyon.
The Jéco are three days of free public economics conferences. According to the organiser, they gather around 40,000 participants and 250 speakers a year, and the Banque de France Bloc-Notes Éco prize is awarded on 3 November. Announced speakers for 2026 include Olivier Blanchard, Esther Duflo, Philippe Aghion, Agnès Bénassy-Quéré, Céline Antonin and Clément Beaune.
For executives, the Jéco offer a rare concentration of the economists and policy figures whose analysis shapes the assumptions behind corporate planning. Finance directors and strategy heads attend to hear how leading academics read the economic outlook, while the presence of policymakers alongside researchers gives the discussions a direct bearing on the regulatory and fiscal environment that companies will face in 2027.
