Egypt Energy 2026, the thirty-fifth edition of the country's power, renewable energy and electrical engineering exhibition, takes place from 12 to 14 October 2026 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo. Organised by Informa Markets, it runs alongside the Egypt Energy Leadership Summit and a Technical Excellence Forum, and is co-located with FIREX Egypt, the fire safety and security show.

The exhibition covers power generation, transmission and distribution equipment, renewable energy and storage, energy efficiency and smart grid technologies, electrical components and lighting, and the engineering and contracting services that build and maintain the network. Exhibitors range from the global electrical equipment manufacturers and their Egyptian partners to local cable, transformer and switchgear makers, and the visitor base includes the state electricity holding company and its distribution subsidiaries, private power developers, industrial energy users, contractors and consultants.

Egypt Energy matters to executives because the country is one of the largest electricity markets in Africa and the Middle East and is in the middle of a transition. After building a large fleet of gas-fired plants, Egypt is now expanding solar and wind capacity at scale in the Benban and Gulf of Suez regions, developing interconnections with Saudi Arabia and Europe, pursuing green hydrogen projects in the Suez Canal zone, and opening the sector to private generation and direct sales to industrial consumers. Each of those shifts creates demand for equipment, engineering and finance.

The Leadership Summit brings ministers and senior officials from the electricity and renewable energy authorities together with the chief executives of developers, utilities, equipment manufacturers and financiers to address policy, investment and the reform of the sector. The Technical Excellence Forum runs engineering-level sessions on grid modernisation, renewable integration, storage and efficiency.

For chief executives and regional heads at electrical equipment manufacturers, renewable energy developers, engineering and construction groups, and the banks and development institutions funding Egyptian energy infrastructure, Egypt Energy is the principal annual gathering of the sector in the country. Registration and the programme are available on the official event site.
