The National Investment and Infrastructure Fund, known as NIIF, is India's sovereign anchored alternative asset manager. It manages more than 7 billion dollars across infrastructure, private markets, growth equity and climate strategies, and has mobilised about 3 billion dollars in new equity commitments over the past 24 months.
Earlier in 2026 it reported a 750 million dollar first close of Private Markets Fund II against a 1 billion dollar target, and in August 2026 a first close of 19,000 crore rupees for Infrastructure Fund II. On 7 September 2026 it announced the appointment of Gauravjit Singh as managing partner and global head of capital formation.
