MassArt is a public college of visual and applied art in Boston, Massachusetts. It is the nation's only independent public college of art and design. Founded in 1873, it is one of the nation's oldest art schools, and the first art school to grant a degree. MassArt is headquartered at 621 Huntington Avenue in Boston, Massachusetts.
The institution spans 18 undergraduate and ten graduate degree programs, certificates, continuing education, and post-baccalaureate study. MassArt enrolls 2,000 students and offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and graduate degrees in 18 disciplines.
