King Abdullah Financial District Development and Management Company (KAFD DMC)

King Abdullah Financial District Development & Management Company (KAFD DMC) develops and operates a spectacular urban development in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, spanning more than five million square meters and designed by leading global architects. The 1.6 million square meter district is home to state-of-the-art office space, world-class venues and luxury residences, and is the largest LEED-certified mixed-use financial district in the world.

KAFD DMC was established in 2018 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF). Tenants include major corporations such as Saudi Aramco, Goldman Sachs, BNP Paribas, PepsiCo and Pfizer Saudi. As of 2025, the district hosts more than 140 office tenants and around 75 regional headquarters of global companies, with nearly 20,000 professionals working there daily. KAFD DMC has approximately 1,233 total employees worldwide as of March 2026.

Located in Riyadh, KAFD is a cornerstone of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, designed to transform the Kingdom into a leading global business and financial hub. In June 2026, KAFD DMC secured a US $3.2 billion, 15-year senior-secured Murabaha facility, its first independently secured debt facility.

Recent Leadership News

In September 2025, KAFD DMC appointed Saad Abdulaziz Alkroud as Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective immediately. Alkroud currently serves as Head of Local Real Estate Investment Division at PIF, where he is responsible for developing and managing a diverse portfolio of real estate and infrastructure investments.
