Founded in 1979, the company operates six high-tech manufacturing facilities that include on-site research, development, and testing capabilities and produces copper and aluminium wire and cable products. The company is headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Following its transition to a 100% UAE-owned entity in 2001, equally owned by the governments of Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Ducab has continuously expanded its footprint over the years, becoming a champion in the industry with six strategic locations across the country.

Its specialized division Ducab HV provides power transmission solutions, while DMB supplies aluminium and copper industrial metals. Ducab serves customers worldwide across energy, construction, oil and gas, renewables, industrial, defence, rail transport, marine, mining, and automotive sectors. Since 1979, the company has expanded from its home markets and now has a footprint in 45 countries across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australasia, Europe, and the Americas. With more than 1,400 staff, Ducab serves customers worldwide in the fields of energy, general construction, oil and gas, renewables, industrial, defence, rail transport, marine, mining, automotive and other specialty industry verticals.

Recent Leadership Changes

Ducab announced the appointment of Matteo Bavaresco as its new Group CEO, effective immediately, marking an exciting new chapter for the company as it looks to accelerate its regional and international growth, having already expanded from the UAE to reach 75 countries worldwide. Bavaresco brings more than 25 years of international experience across the EMEA and APAC regions and joins Ducab from his most recent role as CEO in an international cable company.
