Dr. Jasem Al-Mansory, CEO of Alif Holding

Robo.ai Inc., the Nasdaq-listed artificial intelligence group, has appointed Dr. Jasem Al-Mansory as Chief Executive Officer of Alif Holding, its proposed Abu Dhabi subsidiary, the company announced on July 31, 2026. The appointment gives day-to-day leadership of the planned industrial-AI vehicle to a veteran Emirati public servant as Robo.ai builds out its presence in the United Arab Emirates.

Dr. Jasem Al-Mansory is a UAE national with more than three decades of service in the Ministry of Interior, where he retired as a Brigadier and previously served as Deputy Inspector General. He holds a doctorate from the University of Southampton. His public-sector and security background is intended to bring institutional credibility and governance experience to Alif Holding as it seeks to position itself among the Gulf's emerging artificial intelligence and industrial-technology ventures.

Alif Holding is described by the company as a proposed AI industrial group to be established in Abu Dhabi, with a board chaired by H.E. Dr. Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi, the former President of INTERPOL. The involvement of a figure of that standing underscores the ambition behind the venture, even as the subsidiary itself remains at a pre-establishment stage. The appointment therefore reads as much as a statement of intent as an operational milestone.

For Robo.ai, installing a locally rooted chief executive reflects a common pattern among international technology firms entering the Gulf, where regulatory navigation, government relationships and talent access often hinge on senior nationals with deep institutional networks. The strategy carries execution risk: a subsidiary that is not yet formally constituted must still translate a leadership announcement into licences, capital and commercial traction before it can claim a market position.

The company did not disclose a firm timeline for Alif Holding's formal incorporation or its initial operating priorities. Al-Mansory's mandate, as framed by Robo.ai, is to direct the subsidiary's operations and to shepherd it from concept toward an established industrial-AI platform in the region.
