Dr. Steven Langdon

Dr. Steven D. Langdon held a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Oakland City University, along with a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Ohio University and the University of Kansas, respectively. He worked in higher education for nearly 40 years and served as president of the college for seven years.

While president, Dr. Langdon led the transition to Mercy in 2023 and brought in two new programs for health care students—the practical nursing bridge program and the diagnostic medical sonography program, both of which have waitlists for enrollment. He built and empowered academic teams in diverse settings while developing cultures of quality, integrity and accountability within both two-year and four-year institutions.
