Abdul Shakeel Aidaroos brings over 25 years of banking industry experience with deep expertise in retail banking, digital innovation and risk management. He contributed distinguished work to the ADCB Group over the past three decades, earning recognition for scaling consumer financial services across the UAE banking sector.

At ADCB, Aidaroos held senior positions for 15 years, including 5 years as Head of Retail Banking, where he managed a team of 2,000 professionals and launched award-winning consumer products and digital banking channels. Prior to ADCB, he spent over 10 years with Citibank in the UAE.

Aidaroos served as Chief Executive Officer of Al Hilal Bank, where he led the bank through ambitious digital transformation and determined the strategic direction for building and launching the region's first fully digital Islamic Bank on cloud. He replaced Amr Al Menhali as Al Hilal Bank CEO in 2019, stepping down in January 2025 after building significant growth in the bank's customer base through digital-first innovation.
