Abdulla Kamal

Abdulla Ahmed Kamal was appointed Chairman of SICO's Board of Directors effective April 10, 2023, succeeding Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa. Kamal has been a Director on SICO's Board since 2020, representing the Social Insurance Organization.

Kamal holds a BSc in Accounting from the University of Bahrain and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK. He is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and holds a Certified Associate Professional Risk Manager (APRM) certificate. He brings more than 20 years of experience in investment operations, audit, corporate governance and business risk consultancy, having held several senior leadership positions at well-established companies.
