Yamama Al-Oraibi

Yamama Al-Oraibi was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Pearl Initiative in April 2023, marking the first such appointment since the organization's inception in 2010. Previously a private banker in London, she brings 15 years of experience in entrepreneurship, youth employability, and education. A graduate of the University of Cambridge, Al-Oraibi has extensive experience in these fields across the Middle East's non-profit sector.

Having lived in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Syria with extensive travel throughout the Middle East and North Africa, Al-Oraibi has established a solid track record of building partnerships across different sectors. She has expertise in building high-performance teams, with particular emphasis on hiring local talent and young graduates. Al-Oraibi attended an Executive Summer School at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2010 and brings skills in strategy, budget management, business planning, analysis, and team building.
