The twenty sixth Gold and Jewellery Exhibition returns to the Kuwait International Fair at Mishref for a six day run across three of the ground's largest halls. The exhibition opens on the seventeenth of December and closes on the twenty second. The year is 2026.

The Kuwait International Fair Company organises the show and stages it in halls five, six and seven, the same configuration it gave the twenty fifth edition earlier in the same year. Running the exhibition twice within a single calendar year is itself a statement about the market it serves. Kuwait's gold trade is concentrated in the Mubarakiya souk in the old quarter of the capital, and the fairground show has become the occasion on which that trade presents itself at scale and under one roof.

The event is a commercial exhibition rather than a conference. Manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and design houses take stands across the three halls, and the format gives smaller Kuwaiti jewellers a shop window they would not otherwise command. The halls allocated are the ones the fairground reserves for its largest commercial shows, which places the gold exhibition in the same bracket as the motor show and the property fair on the operator's own calendar.

For the fairground operator the show anchors a crowded December programme. A winter fashion exhibition occupies hall four in the first half of the month and a separate exhibition takes halls five, six and seven immediately before the gold show moves in, so the turnaround between the two is tight and the operator has scheduled it deliberately.

For the jewellery trade the exhibition is the last significant gathering of the year in Kuwait. The twenty fifth edition ran in the summer across the same halls, and the December return gives the trade a second appointment inside twelve months rather than the single annual fixture most Gulf markets offer.

The Kuwait International Fair site at Mishref remains the country's principal exhibition ground.
