Bett UK will return to ExCeL London, running from the twentieth to the twenty second of January. The year is 2027. The show is organised by Hyve Group.
Bett is the world's largest education technology trade show. It draws school and university leaders, procurement teams, government ministries and education technology suppliers from across the United Kingdom and internationally.
A buying event as much as a showcase
What distinguishes Bett from the wider conference circuit is that a large share of its attendees hold budget. Multi-academy trust leaders, local authority buyers and university directors of digital attend to place orders as well as to look, which makes the show the single most concentrated selling opportunity in the European education technology calendar.
It is also where policy and commerce meet. Ministers and agency officials routinely use the event to set out procurement direction, and suppliers read those signals closely because public funding drives most of the demand in the sector. For a vendor, the show functions simultaneously as a sales floor and as the clearest available briefing on where state spending is heading.
The international delegation programme has grown steadily, and ministries from across the Gulf, Africa and Asia now send buying missions, which has turned a domestic trade show into a route to market for suppliers targeting education systems well beyond the United Kingdom.
ExCeL London sits on the Royal Victoria Dock in the Docklands, east of the city centre, and is served by the Elizabeth line and the Docklands Light Railway.
