Srikanth Velamakanni

Srikanth Velamakanni is the Co-Founder and Group Chief Executive of Fractal Analytics, a multinational artificial intelligence and data analytics company. The company evolved from analytics into enterprise AI and listed publicly in February 2026. Srikanth leads the Fractal group of companies, which includes Fractal.ai, the core business of AI services, and Fractal Alpha, a portfolio of incubated or acquired companies such as Qure.ai, Asper.ai, and Analytics Vidhya.

Srikanth holds an MBA degree from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Before co-founding Fractal, he worked as an Associate at ANZ Investment Bank in 1998, then moved to ICICI Bank in 1999 where he worked on structured transactions, including collateralized debt instruments. Before co-founding Fractal in the year 2000, Srikanth was an investment banker and had worked with ANZ and ICICI Bank, managing asset & mortgage based securities.

Srikanth co-founded Fractal Analytics in February 2000 and was CEO from 2006-2016. Under his leadership, Fractal served more than 100 Fortune 500 companies and scaled to unicorn status, achieving valuations exceeding $1 billion. In April 2026, Srikanth was appointed Chairperson of Nasscom after serving as Vice Chairperson and as an Executive Council member for over six years. He has been widely recognized for his contributions to entrepreneurship, receiving the Distinguished Alumni Award 2025 from IIT Delhi and the 'CEO of the Year' award at the 2023 Entrepreneur Awards.

In addition to his leadership at Nasscom and Fractal, he is a founder and trustee member of Plaksha University in Punjab, dedicated to reimagining technology education in India. He also serves as Non-Executive Chairman at ideaForge and as Independent Director at Metro Brands, BARC India, and NIIT Ltd.
