FinTech Connect takes place at ExCeL London over two days, on the first and second of December, in the year twenty twenty six. The event is organised by IQPC Exhibitions.
FinTech Connect is one of the larger end of year gatherings in European financial technology, and its audience is weighted towards banks rather than start-ups. The delegates who matter commercially are heads of innovation, payments executives and technology leaders inside established institutions, and the exhibitors are the vendors selling to them.
That composition makes it a useful read on where incumbent banks are actually spending. The themes that dominate the floor in any given year tend to be the ones that have moved from pilot to procurement, which is a more reliable signal than the themes dominating venture funding announcements.
Recent editions have been weighted towards payments infrastructure, digital identity, embedded finance and the regulatory technology that sits behind them. The organiser publishes the agenda, the speaker list and registration details.
