London Build returns to ExCeL London on the twenty fifth and twenty sixth of November this year, and for this edition is co located with elementalLONDON, giving the construction show a combined footprint at the Royal Victoria Dock venue.
The event bills itself as the United Kingdom's largest construction and built environment exhibition, and its audience is drawn from contractors, architects, developers, local authorities and the engineering consultancies that sit between them. The programme runs across several stages covering housing delivery, retrofit, infrastructure procurement and digital construction, alongside the networking groups that have become the show's distinguishing feature.
The commercial backdrop is a difficult one for the sector. British construction has spent two years absorbing higher financing costs, insolvencies among mid sized contractors and a slow residential development market, while public infrastructure spending has been repeatedly re phased. Against that, retrofit and building safety work has grown, driven by regulation rather than by the cycle, and the co location with elementalLONDON points at exactly that shift toward decarbonisation and building performance.
ExCeL London is served directly by the Elizabeth line and the Docklands Light Railway, which makes it reachable from central London and from both City and Heathrow airports.
One point of caution for anyone recording the event: the organiser attribution differs between the show's own pages, with the exhibitor page carrying a Nineteen Group copyright while the homepage links to Oliver Kinross. We have recorded the event without resolving that attribution.
