Andrea Montague

Andrea Montague was appointed CEO of Brooks Macdonald Group plc in October 2024, taking the helm of the London-listed wealth manager following the retirement of Andrew Shepherd. She grew up in Belfast and studied languages at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, with accountancy as a secondary subject. She began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she qualified as a chartered accountant.

Montague brings deep expertise in risk governance and financial management across the UK wealth and insurance sectors. She is recognized for her fascination with community and what motivates people, shaped by growing up in rural Northern Ireland during the Troubles. Recent awards include 2025 City of London Wealth Management Awards CEO of the Year (female) and 2026 Citywealth Powerwomen Awards International Inspirational Woman of the Year (silver). She serves on the PIMFA Board of Directors.
