Maarten Slendebroek

Maarten Frederik Slendebroek was appointed Chairman of Brooks Macdonald Group plc in November 2023. He brings over 35 years of experience in the investment management industry beginning in 1987. Slendebroek studied Law at the University of Leiden, completing a Master of Law in Business Law in 1987.

Slendebroek started his career in 1987 as an equity analyst at Enskilda Securities in London. He worked at BlackRock and predecessor companies from 1994, holding positions including head of BlackRock Solutions EMEA and head of International Retail. He served as managing director and head of international retail at BlackRock for over 18 years.
