The Dubai Airshow returns to the Dubai World Central site at Al Maktoum International Airport over five days in the middle of November 2027, with Informa Markets organising the event in partnership with Dubai Airports, the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and the UAE Ministry of Defence.

The airshow is the largest aerospace gathering in the Middle East and one of the three events worldwide, alongside Paris and Farnborough, at which the major airframers expect to announce widebody orders. For the Gulf carriers it functions as a home fixture. Emirates, flydubai, Etihad Airways and Qatar Airways have all used recent editions to confirm fleet commitments, and the order book announced across the show week is routinely the headline figure by which the event is judged.

The programme spans commercial aviation, defence, space and air traffic management, with a static display and a daily flying display on the DWC flightline. Alongside the exhibition, the show runs a series of executive conferences covering airline strategy, cargo, sustainable aviation fuel, maintenance and repair, and the emerging advanced air mobility segment.

Attendance is weighted towards decision makers rather than the public. Delegations from airlines, air forces, airport operators, lessors, financiers and tier-one suppliers make up the bulk of registrations, and the event is a fixture in the diary for chief executives and chief commercial officers across the sector.

The 2027 edition falls in the window in which several Gulf carriers are expected to take decisions on next-generation widebody replacements, and in which the regional defence procurement cycle has been running at an elevated level. Those two threads, commercial fleet renewal and defence spending, are what give the show its scale.

Dubai World Central sits in Dubai South, southwest of the city, and the site combines an exhibition hall complex with direct airside access, which is what allows the static park and the flying display to run from the same location as the trade floor.
