Ambareen Musa

Ambareen Musa joined Revolut as CEO of the GCC region in 2024, bringing extensive expertise in financial services and fintech to the global payment company's Middle East expansion. Musa brings almost two decades of experience in financial services and fintech and is widely recognized as a pioneer in the Middle East's digital finance space. Originally from Mauritius, Musa holds an undergraduate business degree from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, and an MBA from INSEAD.

Musa started her first online business at age 21—an online property portal for international students in Australia. Moving to London in 2004, she worked for GE Money (GE's financial arm) in various roles including marketing, financial literacy, customer advocacy, and e-commerce, and led Moneybasics.co.uk, the first online financial literacy initiative in the UK. In 2008, she relocated to the UAE where she worked as a consultant for Bain & Company Middle East.
