Samaan Samaan

Samaan Samaan brings more than 35 years of professional and leadership experience in the industrial sector, particularly in cement and ready-mix concrete. He held several leadership positions, most notably CEO of Lafarge Cement Jordan, in addition to serving on its board of directors and as chairman of the board of managers of Lafarge Concrete. He also has extensive experience in statutory accounting, auditing, financial management and corporate management.

Most recently, Samaan has served as CEO of Lafarge Jordan Cement, where he has overseen the successful implementation of the company's restructuring plan following its insolvency process, achieving a net consolidated profit of JD33.8 million after tax for 2024. Under his leadership, he has adopted a multi-year growth strategy featuring short-term plans to enhance financial and operational performance as well as long-term initiatives to expand business and introduce new market-driven solutions.

Samaan holds a BA Degree in Accounting from the University of Jordan and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the USA and member of the Jordanian Association of Certified Accountants (JACPA). He joined Lafarge in 2005 and held several positions before becoming Country Chief Executive Officer General Manager for Lafarge Concrete Jordan in September 2014.
