Harry Goddard

Harry Goddard became CEO of Deloitte Ireland in June 2019, leading a team of 3,400+ professionals across the country. Goddard holds a degree in applied mathematics from the University of Limerick, and is a native of County Clare. His early career began at insurance company Church & General, where he moved from IT support to writing computer code under the mentorship of a key leader, setting him on a path to consulting.

With more than 20 years in professional services and consulting, Goddard brings deep expertise in leading technology-rich transformation programmes for national public sector and retail financial services clients, with a background in systems integration. He joined Deloitte Ireland as a partner in 2007, and advanced through several leadership roles including Head of Technology Consulting, Technology Integration, and Public Sector before becoming Head of Consulting in 2015.

In addition to leading the Consulting practice in Ireland with over 750 professionals, Goddard led Deloitte's technology practice across the EMEA region, which spans more than 25 countries and includes over 8,000 technology consultants. He took on leadership of GenAI for Deloitte NSE in June 2023 and sits on the firm's global steering group. Outside his Deloitte role, Goddard is co-chair of the Business in the Community Leaders Group on Social Inclusion, a member of the Balance for Better Business review group, and a founding member of Chapter Zero Ireland.
