Tarik Erk

Binance appointed Tarik Erk as Regional Head for MENAT in January 2026, overseeing the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey, while also serving as Senior Executive Officer for Abu Dhabi. Originally from Buffalo, New York, Erk brings over a decade of experience across regulatory compliance, market expansion, product launches, and government affairs within the digital asset and financial services sectors.

He holds a BA from The Ohio State University and a JD from Mitchell Hamline University. Erk began his digital asset career in 2017 at Paxos in New York City, following roles at major financial institutions including JPMorgan Chase and Commerzbank. Before joining Binance, Erk spent six years at Crypto.com, where he served as General Manager for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), overseeing regional growth and regulatory expansion.
