Daniel O’Connor

Dan O'Connor is Head of Hotels & Living in Ireland with over 17 years of experience in the industry, following a nearly 20-year career with JLL. Specializing in hotel transactions, his expertise spans Ireland and Europe. At 39, he is the youngest senior director/board member in JLL Ireland and the only director managing multiple business lines.

O'Connor holds a First-Class Honours Bachelor's Degree in Surveying from Dublin Institute of Technology. Throughout his career, he has held numerous roles at JLL in both the firm's Dublin and London offices. He moved to JLL London in 2010, spending three years in the firm's Hanover Square and Warwick Street offices, becoming a VP in JLL's EMEA hotels transaction team.

In 2014, O'Connor returned to Ireland and established JLL's Ireland hotel transaction business, which built a reputation as a market leader in hotel brokerage and M&A. He was instrumental in establishing JLL as the market leader in hotel transaction services, achieving number one market share in 2022. His hotel brokerage team holds #1 market share, with recent disposals including Mount Juliet Estate, Hard Rock Dublin, Radisson Dublin Airport, and Brooks Hotel Dublin. In May 2023, he was promoted to Head of Hotels & Living – Ireland, expanding his remit to lead JLL Ireland's Residential team managing high-profile residential schemes across Dublin.
