John Moran

John Moran has been with JLL since 1986, accumulating 40 years of professional experience. He holds a BSc in surveying from Trinity College Dublin and a diploma in environmental economics from Dublin Institute of Technology.

Since joining JLL in 1986, he has become one of Ireland's leading specialists in property investment with extensive experience of acquisitions and disposals for pension funds, property companies, life assurance companies and private investors. He has been involved in many of the country's largest and most complex transactions including the sale of Blanchardstown Shopping Centre and the acquisition of Project Jewel including Dundrum Town Centre for $1.9bn, and during his career has executed over $10bn of transactions.

John Moran is to step down as chief executive and head of capital markets at JLL Ireland in January 2027 and move to the role of chairman. He has led the company's Dublin office for the past 17 years, and he said it has been a privilege to lead JLL Ireland for the past 17 years and that he is excited to continue supporting the business in the role of chairman as JLL Ireland enters its next phase of growth.
