MEDICA 2026 will be held at Messe Duesseldorf from 16 to 19 November, alongside the supplier trade fair COMPAMED. The annual world forum for medicine is organised by Messe Duesseldorf and is open from 10:00 to 18:00 from Monday to Wednesday and until 16:00 on the Thursday.

Product categories span clinical diagnostics and therapy, digital medicine and artificial intelligence, integrated care, healthcare infrastructure and health systems, across halls 1, 3 to 7, 10 to 12 and 15 to 17. The 2026 hot topic programme covers the smart hospital, artificial intelligence in diagnostics and resilient health systems, and the organiser explicitly targets chief executives, board members and the heads of public health authorities among its visitor groups.

The event matters to executives because MEDICA is the largest medical technology trade fair in the world and the annual meeting point for hospital groups, medical device makers, distributors and health ministries. Chief executives of medtech companies use it for product launches and distribution agreements, and hospital and health system leaders use it to set procurement priorities for the year ahead.

Messe Duesseldorf operates the exhibition grounds on the Rhine in the north of Duesseldorf.
