The International Defence Exhibition and Conference, IDEX 2027, and the naval defence exhibition NAVDEX 2027 will be held at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from 25 to 29 January 2027. This is the 17th edition of IDEX, which is organised by ADNEC Group in cooperation with the UAE Ministry of Defence and Tawazun Council.
IDEX is the largest defence and security exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa and is held every two years. It gathers defence ministries, armed forces delegations, prime contractors and the supply chain in land, air and naval systems, with NAVDEX running alongside on the waterfront for naval and maritime security.
For executives in defence, aerospace, cyber security and advanced manufacturing the event is a fixed point in the calendar. Contract announcements, offset and localisation partnerships and the presence of senior government buyers make it one of the most consequential business weeks of the year in Abu Dhabi, and a large number of regional appointments and joint ventures are timed to it.
