The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2027 takes place in New Delhi from 4 to 9 February 2027, with Bharat Mandapam hosting the full run and Yashobhoomi hosting a parallel programme from 4 to 7 February. The third edition of the expo is organised under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry with industry bodies including the Engineering Export Promotion Council, the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association and the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers.
The expo is the successor to the Auto Expo and has been reorganised as a single mobility platform covering vehicle makers, component suppliers, batteries and cells, charging infrastructure, steel and materials, tyres, software and urban mobility services. The organiser lists sixteen focus areas and has moved the event to a biennial cycle, so the 2027 edition is the first since 2025.
India is the world's third largest automobile market and a growing exporter of vehicles and components, and the expo is where domestic and global manufacturers present products and technology for the market. The 2025 edition drew the chief executives of the major Indian and multinational vehicle makers and was used to launch electric and hybrid models and to announce supply chain investment.
For executives in automotive, components, batteries, steel and mobility technology, the expo is the principal Indian venue for product launches, supplier meetings and government engagement on emissions, safety and localisation policy. Boards of companies weighing Indian manufacturing investment, including Gulf and East Asian investors in Indian electric vehicle supply chains, will read the expo for signals of which segments and technologies are attracting capital.
